PASS THE PLATE
Food waste is the number one contributor to our landfills, and traditional catering is a big part of the problem. The Posh Affair clients can be proud that their event produced zero-waste: all food was donated, composted or recycled.
With that said, we started our "PASS THE PLATE" Partnership.
Since 2017, we're honored to partner with The Montgomery County Women's Center (MCWC). Their mission is to lead the effort in preventing Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault through crisis intervention, assistance, advocacy, empowerment & social change.
In Montgomery County alone,
MCWC serves 50-75 women & children:
3 meals
2 snacks
every.single.day.
That's 93,750 meals and 62,500 snacks per year.
At The Posh Affair we are committed to supplementing the meals and snacks MCWC serves by donating all remaining, unserved food from our corporate and social events.
